  • Sales Director, Marketing Services

    Position Summary

    Auriemma Roundtables is the leading provider of business intelligence, data benchmarking, and industry news and content for the financial services industry.

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Director to join our team and be a driving force in the growth of our Sponsorship/Marketing Services line of business.

    • Auriemma Roundtables owns and operates several brands and businesses that leverage vendor and third-party thought leadership and content. These are paid thought leadership opportunities making up the Marketing Services line of business.
    • Marketing Services encompasses:
      • Knowledge Partnership program: Thought leadership opportunities for Auriemma Roundtables’ member base. Products include in-person thought leadership at individual Roundtable meetings and/or multi-Roundtable summits, as well as virtual Speaker Series sessions.
      • Advertising and Lead Generation: Products related to our media brands (insideARM and Collections & Recovery) aimed specifically at vendors serving the default management industry. Products include lead generation campaigns, webinars, newsletter sponsorships, and other marketing opportunities.

     

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Manage and execute YoY sales targets within Marketing Services product group
    • Develop and implement go-to-market sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales objectives
    • Coordinate, track, and forecast sales progress for team and management
    • Manage a team member to support sales efforts
    • Collaborate with delivery team to identify and develop sales pipeline
    • Partner with Marketing to develop new marketing campaigns and product collateral to drive sales
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, including identifying cross-sell opportunities
    • Collaborate with clients to identify their marketing goals and align our products and services to meet those objectives
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
    • Maintain awareness of new markets and industry trends

     

    Skills and Education

    • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated success in conference sponsorship sales or related B2B sales roles
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Familiarity and experience with the financial services industry a plus

     

    Competencies

    • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of partnership opportunities.
    • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership with partners.
    • Collaboration: Past experience in working closely with product and content executives to ensure win-win partnerships.

     

    Physical Demands

    • Required Constantly:  Walking, sitting, grasping, computer input, finger dexterity and coordination of hand and eye
    • Required Frequently: Standing; stooping, squatting, carrying laptop & files (approx. 8-10 lbs)
    • Required Occasionally: Reaching above the shoulder, and lifting 5-25 pounds, pushing and pulling

     

    Special Requirements

    Travel: up to 20%

    This position is Hybrid or Remote working in ET or CT time zones.

    Annual Hiring Range: $120,000-$140,000 base salary plus commission.

    Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, and/or skill level.   In addition, the company offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability plans as well as paid time off.
