Data Snapshot: Entry Rates

Credit card entry rates plummeted at the onset of the pandemic as FIs waived minimum payment requirements for customers who asked for relief. More than 40% of these customers continued making payments, positively impacting delinquency. While general seasonal patterns prevail, spring’s low entry rates are yielding substantially lower YoY write-offs in Q4, according to Auriemma Roundtables’ Card Collections data.
